Green-Fingery :o)

Okies so as you know (if you've been following my blog) I've developed a certain Green-Finger (or 2 lol) and have been growing some stuff. I've had some Chilli's on the go, been growing cress, have started an Amaryllis, have some herbs growing nicely and I've just started some Wild Rocket too! :o) also my gorgeous Dr bought me a Pepper Plant and an Aubergine Plant too :o) So here's some more pics to show you guys!

Most of my Chilli Plants have gone to their new homes now and my ones have been re-potted and put in my moms greenhouse along with my Pepper Plant & Aubergine Plant so all pics from now on will be from in there :o) I forgot how much fun it was growing stuff!! lol will take some pics of my Wild Rocket once some shoots start to appear! :o) xXx

Okies so I'm back home after spending 5 days housesitting with my gorgeous Dr for his Sister and I'm feeling the usual wave of sadness now as I get ready to curl up in my lonely lil bed without him sigh :o( we had lots of fun tho and we both made some lovely food so here is a few pics of wot we got upto :o) xXx

I only popped in the kitchen for 5mins and this is wot happened lol

As you can see we had lots of fun, the time went far too fast though :o( its always crappy when we've spent some quality time alone together and then we have to go back to reality (ie. living with our parents sigh) I was only back home 5mins before my mom started moaning at me for no reason :o( I love my folks to bits but they're really fucking me off at the moment! We really need to find us some new jobs so we can get us our own place then we can snuggle all the time :o) xXx

Wombley Green-Fingers! :o)

I dunno if its old age (since turning 30 lol) but I've been feeling very green-fingered lately and have started off some Chilli's which are now seedlings and am also growing some Cress which Dr bought me for my Buftdy :o) I also received some Amaryllis Seeds the end of last year and have been floating them California Style for the last 2 weeks. I nearly lost all hope as most of them sank which means they are non-viable :o( but there were 2 left floating and the other day I noticed a small root coming out of 1 of them! :o) So I've potted that up today too and left the other 1 floating incase that forms a root too! So me (being me lol) has took some photos to show you all!! :o)

Now I've just got the urge to grow more stuff!! :o) I might get meself one of them funky Herb Pots (would love a rainbow one!) and grow me some Rosemary, Thyme, Basil, Coriander etc. to use in cooking as I've got the urge to start cooking more stuff too :o) might even convince my mom to grow some garlic in her veg plot in the garden (even tho she hates garlic) cos it sez it keeps the pests away which she would love lol :o)

Hopefully this is the start of trying to eat more healthier, but obviously it wont be fully in place until me and my lovely Dr get our own place :o( but we'll be spending next week together as we'll be housesitting for his sister :o) he's gonna be making Chicken Butters and a Lamb Roast and I've picked Fettuccine Carbonara and Lamb & Fetta Meatballs in Sweet and Sour Sauce :o) problem is I'm not sure wot to make to go with it as I got the recipes off the internet :oS am thinking about salad with the pasta but not sure wot to do with the meatballs? :oS Am thinking maybe some noodles? Will let you know how we get on and don't worry you know me so I'll be taking some photo's to show you lol :oP Hopefully too I'll have some time to work on my Kokokelli Website and see if I can finish the shop listings :o) then all I gotta do is make sure the shopping system is working properly and then the shop will finally be open!! :o) so fingers crossed!!!

Going through a bad patch :o(

Hey folks, soz I not been about lately, I seem to be going through abit of a bad patch :o( am just feeling generally low and unmotivated :o( am just a big emotional yo-yo at the moment. As a few of you may know I was made redundant from my job of 6yrs the end of march 2010 and have yet to find a new one :o( same for my boyf as he worked at the same place :o( I've not been feeling very crafty lately too and seemed to have lost my crafty mojo :o( I've not been promoting my business much on twitter either so my google analytics is at an all time low :o( I've still not finished the shop on my website cos I've just not felt upto doing it :o( me and Dr haven't been away for a weekend since feb 2010 cos we can't afford it :o( also I'm gonna be turning 30 in 10 days time and I spose a few things are hitting home :o( ...... a) I'm gonna be 30!, b) I'm still living with my folks as I have no job, c) me and Dr can't get our own place until we can find new jobs, d) me and dr can't have a baby until we can get our own place, e) lifes just poo! lol :o( just soooooooooo fed up! When am I gonna get a break?! :o( xXx

I was asked wot design I would like for my custom made card and as I love rainbow colours I was quick to put this idea forward lol :oP when asked wot I'd like for the actual card I mentioned about a fortune cookie I had many years ago and that the fortune inside had stuck in my mind for a while and it was "Live Your Dream, Don't Dream Your Life" so I ask her if she could incorporate this into the design :o) unfortunately she was unable to put any fortune cookies into the design but its still come out rather lovely :o)

Well my Valentine's Day wasn't too bad :o) Dr bought me some lovely flowers and 2 boxes of chocs (so did alot better than the naff all I had off him last year lol :oP) but looks like I spoilt him again this year :o( don't mean to but can't help myself lol I just like to buy him nice things cos I love him loads! :o) xXx
