Greenfinger's Update #3

Well I've been making the most of the glorious weather we've been having lately and frankly my plants have been loving it too! Alot of my stuff is starting to grow now :o) .......

Potted up my Chilli's, Pepper's & Aubergines's that have grown so far :o)

 

All my Onions are growing now! :o)

 My Chives are finally starting to grow :o)

My Lettuce are starting to get second set of leaves :o)

Rocket, Spinach & Mixed Salad Leaves are shooting :o)

Starting to get green shoots on my Garlic :o)

I've also been out and bought some new things to grow lol yes I know I can't stop now! I'm having too much fun! :o)

Got a Strawberry growing set from the 99p store so started them off :o)

Bought an Aloe Vera growing set from Wilko's so started that off :o)

Bought these funky White Strawberry shoots from Wilko's too so hope they grow :o)

Bought some Night Scented Stock seeds from Savacentre so have started them off too :o)

Got myself a Thermometer for inside my mini greenhouse so I can keep track of the temperature inside :o)

This is the only Wild Rocket that actually grew last year and it survived the winter! 

The hot weather has made it grow like wildfire!

The Amaryllis I started growing last year has formed a small bulb now so I repotted it :o)

mini greenhouse is now a full house! :o)

Greenfinger's Update #2

Okies this is just a quickie to say I'm well chuffed as my stuff is starting to show signs of life! :o) ........

Dill are starting to sprout through :o)

Lettuce seedlings have popped up :o)

My Onions have shoots on :o)

Mom's Onions are shooting too :o)

We have some action on the Aubergine's, Chilli's & Pepper's :o)

Just started off my Mixed Salad Leaves :o)

Started off my Sunflowers :o) Bill & Ben shall live again!

My Mini Greenhouse is starting to fill up nicely :o)























So excited now, it's the wait I hate but now things are starting to show signs of life the fun is about to begin! Will they grow big & strong? Will they even survive?......

We'll just have to wait and see!

Greenfinger's Update #1

Okies so I've found more stuff to grow :o) YAY!..........

In here are the 3 onions left over from the ones my mom has planted :o)

In here is the Garlic Dr gave me :o) there are 10 cloves so I should get 10 Garlic bulbs!

In here I've planted Lettuce seeds of the Webbs variety :o) they should be similar to Iceberg

In here I planted mom's Vivaldi Potatoes, there's 2 sacs with 5 seed potatoes in each :o)

In here I've started off Scotch Bonnet's from the seeds I took out of some shop bought ones we used :o)

In here will hopefully be some Venus Fly Traps :o) I bought a growing kit off ebay and there were 12 seeds so I'm trying out 4 to start with

In here I'm doing some Alfalfa & Mustard Micro-Greens for using in salads :o)

In here I've planted some gorgeous Cerinthe seeds I bought from Webbs of Wychbold today. If they grow I will be putting them in a purple pot (if I can find one lol) to help bring out the purple of the flowers and contrast with the greens & blues of the leaves :o)

I've actually got some seedlings starting to come through on some of the stuff I'm growing so I will post some pics of those next time :o) stay tuned folks!

Wombley & Kitty Reunion :o)

As most of you folks probably know the last time I saw our kitties was when they were 8 weeks old and looked like this....

Well..... While my folks were away the weekend the Dr decided to bring them to mine for a couple of hours so I could see them! :o) OMG how much they have grown in 8mths! They've gone from lil kitties into lil cats! :o) See for yourselves....

How gorgeous are they! :o) I love them so much! They were really shy at first obviously cos they hadn't seen me for ages and they were in unfamiliar territory. Cami was first to come and have a fuss but Mumu hid under the bed and did't want to come out :o( in the end we had to lure him out with food lol. Then once they'd had a wonder around and abit of a nosey they came and chilled out with us on the bed :o)

Cami looks so stoned lol and check out that ear hair! lol

Mumu came and chilled on my lap, Dr sez he doesn't do that with ANYONE normally :o)

Amazing how well they get along, Mumu even cleans up after her in the litter tray lol

It was so much fun getting to spend some time with them again after so long. I still can't get over how big and bushy Cami's tail is now! It's huge! :o) She's so cute too, when you fuss her if she likes you she licks you at the same time :o) she's a proper fusspot now and her purr is like a motorbike pmsl :oP But she doesn't like you touching her paws lol. Mumu still loves to play and likes to have adventures and even though Dr sez he doesn't like fuss, he couldn't get enough off me! lol :o) He's also a mega clean freak and he even cleans up after Cami when they've been in the litter tray lmao :oP It's gonna be so much fun when we eventually get our own place and I'll get to munch them every single day :o)

Let the fun begin! :o)

Yes the fun begins now! I've started sowing my seeds and adding to my new mini greenhouse :o) fingers crossed all my stuff will grow well and turn out right! Guess I'll just have to wait and see! :o)

It's looking better now its in use! :o)

Top layer of my stackable herbs - mint, thyme, coriander & dill

Middle layer of stackable herbs - sage, basil & rosemary (chives in yellow pot)

Bottom layer of stackable herbs - oregano, parsley & tarragon

 Trying out some Catnip for my Kitties :o)

Alfalfa & Mustard Shoots (also gonna do some micro-greens of these too)

1st propagator - aubergine, fruity chilli, capsicum pepper & chilli

Mom's new trug, I helped her fill it yesterday, she's gonna be growing onions & carrots in it :o)

Hopefully I'll start to see some action in the next week or so depending on the weather :oS really hope they grow! Roll on summer cos the hot weather will help alot :o) I'll be starting off my rocket, mixed salad, spinach & lettuce in the next week or so too! Dont worry I'll keep you all updated lol ;o)

It's that time again :o)

Yes folks, Spring is in the air which can only mean one thing...... Wombley Green Finger's time! :o) YES! I finally got to erect my christmas pressie my folks got me the other day, what do you think?
